About Power House Dance Academy

Power House Dance Academy is thrilled to kick off our eighth incredible season! Our dedicated team of instructors is passionate about sharing their extensive dance and performance knowledge with each and every student. At PHD, we pride ourselves on maintaining a professional, ever-evolving staff that stays current through continuous education—bringing fresh, innovative choreography and energy into every class.

This season, we remain committed to meeting each student where they are. By understanding individual learning styles, we aim to foster both strong technical dance skills and a powerful sense of self-confidence that extends beyond the studio.

  • Team Building Exercises

GENERAL STUDIO INFORMATION

  • Classes are available for students ages 2+
  • We offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level classes
  • Innovated dance space with Marley dance flooring 
  • We accept all major credit cards
  • FREE onsite parking 

RULES & REGULATIONS

  • PHD is a Uniformed Dance Studio, students will not be able to participate in class if he or she is not in studio uniform and does not have the appropriate dance shoes.
  • Attendance is extremely important to your child's growth of their dance skills and knowledge. If your child cannot attend class please call the studio prior to your child's schedules class time.
  • We DO NOT offer make-up classes for personal missed class. 
  • PHD follows the public school schedule as a guideline for our studio closures.
  • If we are expected to have inclement weather, please call the studio 718-673-6558 for information of class cancellations 
  • NO OUTSIDE SHOES ALLOWED IN DANCE THE ROOM
  • No cell phones allowed during class
  • Every first week of the month, parents are invited to  the last 5 minutes of class for our Nursery Classes
